Our Bengal Kitten Application helps us ensure that every Tikka Sky kitten is matched with a committed, well‑prepared family. Completing this application is the first step toward joining our waitlist or adopting a currently available kitten. Please read our entire website before applying, as our process is designed for families who are fully ready to place a deposit and move forward. Once your application is submitted along with your deposit and deposit agreement, we will respond within 24 hours — be sure to check your spam folder, as some replies may be filtered.

Our application is intended for families who are fully committed to placing a deposit and joining our waitlist or adopting a currently available kitten. If you have questions and are not yet ready to place a deposit, please use our Contact Us page instead of submitting the questionnaire.

Why We Require an Application

Our application helps us ensure that each kitten is placed in a safe, loving, and well‑prepared home. It allows us to understand your lifestyle, expectations, and experience so we can guide you toward the right kitten and the right timing.

How Our Bengal Kitten Application Works

Submitting the application does not guarantee placement on the waitlist. It simply begins the conversation. To be officially added to the waitlist, you must:

• Complete the Kitten Questionnaire.
• Complete the Deposit Agreement.
• Provide the required deposit. No one may be placed on the waitlist without all three components and our approval.

Deposit Agreement & Waitlist Requirements

The Deposit Agreement must be filled out after you place your deposit.

You may contact us with any questions before placing your deposit.

We cannot add you to the waitlist until we have:

• Your completed questionnaire.
• Your completed deposit agreement.
• Your deposit.

Applications submitted without a deposit agreement and deposit will not receive a response.

This same 3‑step process applies to adopting a currently available kitten.

Cattery Visits & Safety Policies

Our cattery is located inside our home. For safety and privacy:

• Visits are by appointment only.
• Visits are reserved for approved waitlist clients or families who have already reserved a kitten.
• We do not offer cattery tours.

Due to past issues with unannounced or inappropriate visits, we have implemented strict safety measures to protect our home, our cats, and our family.

It may seem like a good idea to come visit young kittens to see which one might "fit" you best, but kittens aren't like puppies. Until they are weaned, they focus on their mother and littermates, and they don't readily go to strangers. Cats are much more wary than dogs, and need time to get to know someone before they totally accept them.

Besides that, please understand that we at Tikka Sky are totally responsible for the health and well-being of these little lives. By allowing visitors to come into our nursery area, we are potentially exposing these young babies to disease or bacteria that may be carried on the hands or clothing of well-meaning visitors. Once you've selected a kitten and it is past the risky stage, their immune system is no longer in jeopardy and the first immunizations are giving the kitten necessary protection. We will then be able to make an appointment to come visit your kitten.

Please understand that we feel this policy is necessary in order to protect our very young and vulnerable babies. We will not risk their health just to make a "sale".

Provide a stable, indoor‑focused environment.

Understand the energy level and intelligence of Bengals.

Are committed to proper nutrition, enrichment, and veterinary care.

Value ethical breeding and responsible ownership.

Steps After Submitting Your Application

We review your application after all 3 steps are completed to ensure a good match.

We contact you within 24 hours — if we have further questions so check your spam folder.

Once completed, you are officially added to our waitlist or may reserve a currently available kitten.

We guide you through updates, photos, and next steps.

Reserved Kittens, Holdbacks & Availability Notes

Many of our kittens are reserved through the waitlist before they are posted online.

If you see a kitten labeled “AVAILABLE”, an application is still required.

We reserve the right to hold back kittens for our breeding program or for other breeders.

In these cases, a kitten may be marked “Reserved” even if you were not contacted.

If we cannot reach you due to spam filtering or incorrect contact information, we will move to the next approved client.

When You’ll Hear Back From Us

We respond to all applications within 24 hours. Please check your spam folder, as some email providers filter our replies.

Thank you for filling out our Questionnaire. If you would like to be added to our Kitten Wait List, please proceed to fill out the Wait List Deposit Agreement and send us your Wait List Deposit via the Zelle link on our site.

Once we're in receipt of BOTH the Wait List Deposit Agreement and the $300 US$ Wait List Deposit (Step 2 & 3), you will be automatically added to our Wait List and you will receive email confirmation. If for some reason we are not able to add you to our wait list, (ie due to some of the answers provided in the Questionnaire) we will contact you immediately to discuss and if the matter cannot be clarified, we will return your deposit immediately.

PLEASE NOTE: Filling out this questionnaire ONLY does not constitute automatically being added to the waitlist. If you have not done the full 3 steps listed on our website, you will not be added. We normally try to reach out via email or phone call immediately upon receipt of this questionnaire. If there is no response, then we will move on so check your SPAM FOLDER. We will only attempt to contact you once and then this questsionnaire will be ignored if you do not respond within 24 hours.

Being breeders is hard work and alot of time dedicated to it so if your a tire kicker....please don't submit this application. We are here to serve you but will not pester the unwilling.
