🐾 HEALTH GUARANTEE

Our Promise to Protect Your Kitten’s Well‑Being — Today and Always

Your kitten’s health and wellbeing are our highest priority. Every Tikka Sky Bengal kitten is raised with exceptional care, proper nutrition, early socialization, and thorough veterinary oversight. Our Health Guarantee is designed to give families confidence and peace of mind, outlining the protections we provide, the responsibilities we share, and the steps needed to ensure your kitten begins life healthy, supported, and set up for success.

Ā

What Our Health Guarantee Covers

Our Health Guarantee protects your kitten against serious genetic and congenital conditions that could impact their long‑term quality of life. We stand behind the health of every kitten we raise, and we work closely with trusted veterinarians to ensure each kitten leaves our home strong, healthy, and thriving.

Your kitten will go home with:

A full veterinary exam

Age‑appropriate vaccinations

Deworming

Microchip

Spay or neuter (for all pet kittens)

A health record showing the vaccinations given and any parasite control given.

Ā

Genetic & Congenital Protections

We guarantee your kitten to be free from:

Life‑threatening congenital defects

Severe hereditary conditions known to affect Bengals

Genetic illnesses that would significantly reduce lifespan or quality of life

If a covered genetic condition is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within the guarantee period, we will work with you to determine the appropriate next steps as outlined in your contract.

Ā

What Is Not Covered

Our Health Guarantee does not cover:

Illnesses caused by improper care, neglect, or injury

Parasites (internal or external), which are common and treatable

Stress‑related symptoms from transitioning to a new home

Illnesses resulting from exposure to unvaccinated animals

Conditions arising from unauthorized vaccinations (see below)

We are always here to help guide you, but some issues fall outside the scope of a breeder guarantee.

Ā

Buyer Responsibilities

To maintain the Health Guarantee, families must:

Follow all veterinary care recommendations

Provide proper nutrition and a safe indoor environment

Keep the kitten indoors unless safely harness‑trained

Maintain regular parasite prevention

Avoid exposure to sick or unvaccinated animals

Follow all vaccination guidelines provided by us

These steps protect your kitten and ensure the guarantee remains valid.

Ā

Required Veterinary Visit Timeline

Your kitten must be seen by your veterinarian within 72 hours of going home (excluding Sundays and holidays). This initial exam confirms your kitten’s health and establishes a medical baseline.

During this visit, your vet should:

Perform a full physical exam

Review the kitten’s medical records

Discuss future vaccination needs

Establish a wellness plan

Failure to complete this exam within the required timeframe will void the Health Guarantee.

Ā

Vaccination & Altering Requirements

All Tikka Sky pet kittens are spayed or neutered before leaving us, ensuring they never experience hormonal behaviors or reproductive health risks.

To protect your kitten’s health:

Do NOT vaccinate for FeLV or FIV. These vaccines carry higher risks and can cause lifelong false positives. Vaccinating for FeLV/FIV voids the Health Guarantee.

Follow your vet’s recommended schedule for core vaccines (FVRCP and Rabies).

Never give multiple vaccines at the same appointment unless medically necessary.

We are happy to help you plan a safe, staggered vaccination schedule.

Ā

Conditions That Void the Health Guarantee

The guarantee becomes void if:

The kitten is vaccinated for FeLV or FIV

The kitten is allowed outdoors unsupervised

The kitten is bred (all pet kittens are altered)

The kitten does not receive the required initial vet exam

The kitten is neglected, improperly cared for, or exposed to unsafe environments

The kitten is fed a raw diet before 1 year of age (risk of parasites and bacterial illness)

These policies exist to protect your kitten’s health and safety.

Ā

Regularly vet‑checked
